Growth Queens extra #1 update!

Okay, then. Tsunade story it is!
I did some sketchs for the characters:

You know, Naruto is there just for comedy purposes. I will make the layouts in this week.
Now the other short story, Nami and the muscle "fruit". I think Usopp is the best victim... partner for the story.

Growth Queens extra #1 Update!

I think I already posted that page... its the final version. It needs text yet.
The idea for these Growth Queens extra is to make a bundle of really short FMG stories of famous characters. Instead of colors, I will use computones. The original series, Growth queens, demands a lot of work, the colors, its a long and expensive process. Waiting 3 months for a comic is tough, huh?

So, this a new experiment mine. Short stories, 6 or 7 pages. The Harley Quinn story is finished now I have to make more one or two stories to make a 20 pages issue.

I was thinking to make another poll, but I guess it was kinda a mess and stressful to deal with that. Now I will do something different. Let me hear from you what you would like to see. But keep it short. If you like what someone posted, let me know it. Thats it.

I thought in a story with Nami(one piece) eating a "muscle" fruit. I did think in a story with Tsunade (Naruto) showing her body its still tight. What do you think?

This is a not completed version of the cover. If you are a spidey fan you will know from where that particular scene came. The comic is pretty finished, I am reviewing the text, pimping the backgrounds, inserting effects, etc. This Friday will be the day.

Hello!

Another update! The works is progressing, slowly, I confess. I kinda hate coloring and I am too broke to pay someone to color it. Damn cat! The Vet ripped me off!

BUT! Here a sample!

It's not finished yet, I am trying to make the muscles stand out in the dark suit, which is kinda hard. But thanks to the marvelous art of RedSilver and his crazy and awesome notion of anatomy, the works are looking pretty good.

Sorry for taking this long to post something!

<rant> Slowly I confess. Life is throwing some pretty big rocks on my head BUT I am not complaining about it, it's always better walking over the ground than lying under it! </End of rant>

I took some time to find the right colors for the symbiote, i know you guys will want to see every muscle clearly, juicy and shiny as a coconut pudding. A purple/blue-ish coconut pudding I mean.

Growth Queens #4 Update!

Hello! Sorry for being "in the shadows" on these last days. BUT HERE HERE!

It's not 100% yet. The great and awesome RedSilver is helping me, he is doing the pencil lines and I am messing all the thing... I mean Inking and coloring them!

Ok, the comic will have 15 pages, maybe a little more if more pages are needed to wrap the things up.
That's it, I am about 1/4 of the work, maybe more four weeks I will be done with it. I guess. I believe. I hope.

Growth Queens #4 Update

I am doing some sketchs for the Mary jane/She-venom story. I kinda decided it it will me be the "bombshell" type, not the slim skinny super model Mary Jane. I guess you guys will not complain about that!

Another thing, I guess the mature/classic version is better, big lips looks good. I also did some doodles with venom as well, I think the simbiote goo can mimic something close to hair, but I don't how it will look. But this is just a brainstorming, it may not be possible to make this in the comic, since it's 15 pages. So I guess she will be look like in the end of the page.

Ah, I think either way she will look a bit scary. But in a sexy way! Ah, she will wear heels in the costume, she is a model after all, she knows how to fight wearing heels. I guess.

Growth Queens #4 Winner!

Hi everyone! Finally here is the result!

We have a draw in here(what?), She-Venow and Cammy. But yeah, I know, the total number of voters (1239)is a little big in this election, so, we could have some 'smart' moves in this election.

Since I can't know for sure and I don't want to be unfair, I elaborated two auxiliary methods:

-I sent mails to 10 people, randomly asking for their votes.
-This other is a secret, it can be easily exploited if revealed.

To my surprise, these three methods resulted in the SAME indication, so we have a true winner in the end!

Yep, it's her. 6 of 10 randomly chosen voters picked her. The poll chose her and the third secret method indicated a result 50% higher than the second candidate.

ALRIGHT! It's time to start the sketchs. I think the favorite version of Mary Jane is the 70's version:

We,ll have a pretty short one page introduction of Venom and Spidey, then the symbiote takes Mary Jane(I didn't thimk in a reason yet), then She-venom fights Venom to take the rest of the Symbiote, getting huge in the process. It's not a serious story, it's supposed to be funny.
I am thinking in 15 pages.

The 2 pages above were removed because the fighting was taking too much space, so I decided to put more muscular growth scenes instead. It's funny, because Akuma does his super hyper dubba hubba combo, but it doesn't work at all.

Inking the comic right now. And I noticied I can stretch the story a little more, to 15 pages.
So, back to the layouts! And I had a nice(and geek) idea:

If you know the games, you know who is. And if she wants the "world warrior" title, she will have to deal with him first.
I thought in puting one the female characters instead, but it would be a massacre. I am not fond of violence against women, against men is alright, and if it is a woman who is doing the ass kicking part, much better!

WHY NO COLORS you asks. Well, the thing is, I am pretty slow in colored comics. And I already measured the time and effort. With the help of Luigisjuy, the comic still takes a lot of time. It's weird.

So after a lot experiments and stuff, I came with some new methods for drawing comics. And I tell you, maybe with this I can pull off my wildest dream... 20 pages by month instead 5 or 8. It's pretty like the style of Wasted Lands, but it's a improved and revised method.

It's less work? Nope. Is a careful and strategic way of using lines and textures. It's a better use of time. Thats the japanese way of making comics. Or do you think anyone can draw 30 pages by week just drawing and drawing! No, there is a lot secrets and methods in the business! And a team. And money. And a team.

So, tell me what you think of the art. Of course, this is a manga style. Kartoon Warz needs another set of methods.
